SECWA Held Most Successful Road Show Ever!

Southeastern Car Wash Association’s first Road Show of 2010 was held in Savannah, Georgia on February 14 and 15. The day and a half Road Show was the most successful one to date with 135 attendees – including car wash owners, investors and suppliers in attendance. The Road Show featured six outstanding round table discussions on the first day of the meeting: Modern Construction, Customer Loyalty/Marketing, Chemical Do’s and Don’ts, Social Media (i.e. facebook, twitter), Energy Management and Car Wash Conversions. The second day of the meeting included a panel of experts who had over 200 years of car wash experience thus addressing the past, present, and the future of the car wash industry. Robert Greene, president of Car Wash Express, Inc. was the host in Savannah and he executed an outstanding Car Wash Tour. This tour included a full service car wash, express car washes, and a new concept gated self service car wash. Bob Schrum, President of SECWA, would like to invite everyone to our next Road Show in Memphis, Tennessee on July 25 – 26th, 2010. Regional Road Shows
We would like to extend a warm invitation to join us at one of our Regional Road Shows. As one of SECWA's most successful events, attendance continues to increase at each show, primarily due to the valuable educational benefits that registrants receive. The format is short, fast, affordable, informative and beneficial to all who attend. Look forward to panel discussions and a general session featuring a guest speaker regarding some of the hottest topics in the industry today. The culminating event is the ever-anticipated car wash tour, where we visit as many local area car washes as possible in one day. Top Car Wash Awards
The Top Car Wash Awards are awarded each year to outstanding SECWA member car washes in the southeastern region. Each car wash must be nominated and then judged on certain criteria established by the Awards Committee and the SECWA Board. Will your car wash be recognized this year? Learn more
